SharkFin Studios - Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

This page explains what information SharkFin Studios collects when you use sharkfinstudios.com, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information You Give Us

  • Contact form: your first and last name, email address, phone number (optional) and your message. We use these only to reply to you and to plan the session you asked about.
  • Group headshot booking: when your organization sets up a headshot day, each person books a time through a private link. We ask for your first and last name, plus an email address only if you want a confirmation and calendar invite. This is used only to schedule and run the session, and it is visible to your organization’s session coordinator, who manages the day. Check-in on the day is recorded against your booking.

Website Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this website: pages viewed, how you arrived, approximate location (city or region), and device and browser type. Google Analytics uses cookies (named _ga and _ga_5WWNRLRNK1) to recognise returning visits.

On booking pages, only the page address without its access code or link details, plus a generic page title, is sent to Google Analytics. When a booking is completed or the contact form is sent successfully, we record that it happened, without your name, contact details or message.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google Analytics storage is turned off by default (Google Consent Mode). In that case Google Analytics does not set or read its cookies, although Google may still receive limited cookieless measurement signals.

You can block Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Google’s handling of this data is described in its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Cloudflare

This website is delivered through Cloudflare for security and performance. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies to tell real visitors from automated bots. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without using cookies.

Spam Protection

Our contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which checks that the form is being sent by a person rather than a bot. To do this, reCAPTCHA collects information about your device, browser and how you use the page, and sends it to Google. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Server Logs

Like most websites, our hosting server keeps standard access logs: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and browser details. These are used for security, troubleshooting and basic traffic statistics. Our web host may also set a short-lived cookie to confirm you are using a real browser.

Cookies at a Glance

  • Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_5WWNRLRNK1): visit statistics; not set by default in the EEA, UK and Switzerland.
  • Google reCAPTCHA: spam protection on the contact form.
  • Cloudflare: security and bot protection.
  • Web host check: confirms a real browser is visiting.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, although the contact form may need reCAPTCHA cookies to send.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers described above, as needed to run this website, and, for group headshot bookings, with your organization’s session coordinator.

How Long We Keep It

We keep inquiries and booking records only as long as we need them to respond to you, provide our services and keep normal business records.
